A Message From the Owner

People sometimes ask how I got started planning events. Well, 23 years ago, I was hired to help plan a Kentucky Derby party. It was to be a one-time gig that sounded like a fun way to earn extra cash. The client was so impressed with my ideas and the work that I did to pull of the party that she recommended me to several friends. The rest, as they say, is history. I had clients long before I had a business name or cards and, since that time, I’ve designed and coordinated more corporate events and social celebrations than I dare try to count. My clients range from everybody folks looking to host something nice to corporate entities looking for brand awareness or a specific return on investment. What makes it all work is that each of them trust my creativity and ability to manage details. Of course it also helps that I’m good at what I do and quality is never lacking.

I am passionate about my work and that wins me a lot of repeat business, for which I’m grateful. Even after all these years, I still get excited when the phone rings and it’s a new client. I still get a little sad when the party’s over it’s time to part ways with clients that I’ve gotten to know so well after months of working together. What can I say? It’s a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together.
